MicroHom

California housing data

Sourced statewide figures for homelessness programs, Homekey, and the November 3, 2026 housing bond. A statewide total is not split into county shares.

MicroHom publishes a county page only where a public source gives a figure for that county. The other counties stay off the index until a county figure exists.

Statewide totals

Statewide. Not a county share. Not split across the 58 counties. Component pots are parts of a total, not extra money on top of it.

  • USD (proposed GO bond on Nov 3, 2026 ballot; NOT yet approved)

11,250,000,000 USD (proposed GO bond on Nov 3, 2026 ballot; NOT yet approved)

Election is Nov 3, 2026; outcome unknown as of 2026-10-17. Also: this 2026 Prop 1 is a different measure from the March 2024 Prop 1 ($6.38B behavioral health bond) that funds Homekey+.

    LAO ballot analysis – Proposition 1, November 3, 2026

  • USD (housing-program share of the proposed Nov 3, 2026 bond; NOT yet approved)

10,000,000,000 USD (housing-program share of the proposed Nov 3, 2026 bond; NOT yet approved)

This $10 billion is the housing-program share of the $11.25 billion bond. It is not a smaller replacement for the total.

  • USD (Homekey+ NOFA total)

    2,145,000,000 USD (Homekey+ NOFA total)

Rolling until exhausted. March 27, 2026 amendment: 'As of March 27, 2026, HCD has received funding requests for approximately $360 million for Veteran Units' — veteran funds underutilized.

    HCD Homekey+ NOFA (amended)

The proposed November 3, 2026 bond is $11,250,000,000. Outcome unknown. $10,000,000,000 of that is the housing-program share repaid by the General Fund, and $1,250,000,000 is veterans’ home loans repaid by the borrowers. Neither amount is a second bond, and neither is divided by county here. The March 2024 Proposition 1 ($6,380,000,000) is a different measure. It funds Homekey+.

Funding readiness keeps the program checklist. Sources lists the live parcel services.

Shared counts

A shared count covers more than one county. It is shown once, with the same number, and it is not divided.

  • 2025 Eastern Sierra Continuum of Care

    124 people in 2025, up from 106 in 2024. 98 were unsheltered in 2025.

Shared count. Not split. Shared count for Alpine, Inyo, and Mono together. Not split into a Mono County share. No Mono-only 2025 figure is published here.

Counties with a public county figure

  • Humboldt CountyFigures on this page are Humboldt County or Humboldt Continuum of Care records. A statewide program total is not turned into a Humboldt share.
  • Mono CountyMono County figures stay separate from the Eastern Sierra Continuum of Care total. That CoC covers Alpine, Inyo, and Mono. It is not divided by three.
  • San Bernardino CountyThe countywide count and the place counts are separate published figures. Place counts are not a division of the county total.
  • Mendocino CountyThese are Mendocino County records. They are not a portion of a statewide homelessness or Homekey total.
  • Trinity CountyTrinity is part of the Colusa-Glenn-Trinity Continuum of Care. Local point-in-time writeups disagree, so this page does not pick a Trinity total and does not split the CoC count.
